The hotel offers gorgeous, spacious rooms with very comfy beds and great countryside views, exuding charm and warmth. However, the low ceilings can create a dark atmosphere during supper but are bright during breakfast. The service is accommodating and modern, with friendly staff despite a slight hiccup regarding breakfast coupons. The location is set in a beautiful area near the river, perfect for exploring, although breakfast issues were noted. The dining experience, with a nice selection of dishes, is enhanced by nearby scenic lanes and farmlands. The overall facilities are commendable.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were beautifully done, some with large windows and balconies overlooking a lovely fountain, making them cozy, clean, and pretty. The service started a bit unsure in English but quickly warmed up with some French interactions, always friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, nestled in a beautiful old monastery near Trois-Rivieres, close enough to be convenient, right on the cycling paths. The dining experience was fantastic with a good selection of delicious options. Overall, a wonderful experience with a few minor hiccups.

Rooms

The rooms were nicely done with varying sizes, some with large windows, sofa, fridge, desk & chair, TV, free internet, and a large bathroom with bath & shower. Even in the basement, they were still cozy, clean, and pretty, with some offering balconies overlooking a beautiful fountain.
Service

The service was quite unsure in English at first but quickly warmed up with some French interactions, pointing us to great choices in town. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, offering a welcome drink and pet amenities, as well as tours/ticket assistance.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful old monastery near Trois-Rivieres, right on the cycling paths, making it extremely beautiful and convenient. It can be a bit challenging to find at night, but with some research, it's worth it.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was great with a nice selection of delicious options like fruit salad, hot bagels, cottage cheese, and more. The cooked to order eggs, bakery items, cheese, ham, and cereal were tasty. However, the only downside was a branch falling on our car roof shortly after arrival in the hotel parking lot.
Facilities

The facilities were fantastic with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. However, it was unfortunate that a branch fell on our car roof shortly after arriving in the parking lot, slightly affecting the experience.

Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms in the annex building were lovely and spacious, but some had limited views due to small skylight windows. The amenities like a large LCD TV and beautiful bathtub were great, but not all rooms offered the same level of comfort and privacy.

Rooms
8.0
I stayed in the annex building, and the room was very nice and large with modern amenities like a large LCD TV and a beautiful sunken bathtub. However, my room on the 4th floor had tiny skylight windows, limiting the view.
Service
9.0
The service at the hotel was very helpful and accommodating, especially during the reservation process. They even offered to make eggs to my preference and showed us around the ballroom when we were interested.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was convenient for walks and runs, situated halfway between Montreal and Quebec City with a picturesque view of the countryside. However, dining experiences suffered when they ran out of salmon before serving everyone.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was generally good, with a decent variety of options, but it fell short in providing classic breakfast items like pancakes, waffles, or French toast. The tex-mex omelet was a highlight.
Facilities
The hotel's facilities were satisfactory, though the breakfast room being in an unfinished basement was a drawback. Overall, the amenities like the pet-friendly features and tours/ticket assistance were appreciated.

I stayed in the annex building, which was a newer building where the rooms were very nice and large. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and had very comfy beds. The hotel also had a good restaurant. However, the fact that the single double bed was supposed to be an upgrade was a nice touch.

The staff here were very helpful and accommodating. They were so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any queries. I even got a tour of their beautiful ballroom because I showed interest in the building. The welcome drink and pet amenities were a nice touch!
Location

The location of the hotel was lovely, perfect for going on walks or runs as it is situated on some quiet country roads. It's also halfway between Montreal and Quebec City, making it convenient for travelers. The tranquility of the area added to the overall charm.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience at the hotel was good with enough variety to choose from. I enjoyed the cooked-to-order eggs, bakery items, cheese, ham, and cereal. However, it was a letdown that breakfast was served in an unfinished basement room, which took away from the ambiance. The organic jams were a nice touch, though.
Facilities
9.0
The hotel facilities were top-notch, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool area was well-maintained and enjoyable. Overall, the facilities enhanced the overall experience.
